eatin’ too much

Eating too much, is epidemic but that’s not new news.

Old eating habits make it very difficult to lose weight because we are “programed” to eat that way.  Understanding why dieting fails and how to achieve an easy normal comfortable control over eating habits.

America’s constantly struggle to eat less is a failure. The failure is not because of mental weakness, it is instead a success of the individuals mind power to act habitually and cause you to eat the way you were programed.

Diets work but are difficult to stay on. Here’s why:  Your eating habits were established long ago and can be more than difficult to overcome. Every individual has been carefully trained by their parents or later self trained to eat the way they do.  That means you give little or no thought to how or what you eat. You eat mindlessly!

If your family constantly ate huge servings or more than one serving at a meal, you are likely to have an internal branding and propensity to do the same. It makes you feel good. If as a child you ate desert after a meal, yup, you have developed an desert eating pattern and a desire for sweets that could be very hard to stop.

While following a diet may be a good tool for guidance on what to eat, but until you “reprogram” your old ways of thinking abut the way you eat you are likely to struggle and fail at any diet.
